The first match of the evening saw UP Yoddhas emerge victorious with a 40-35 win over the Telugu Titans. Captain Sumit was instrumental, scoring eight points, while Gagan Gowda delivered a standout performance with 14 points. For the Titans, Vijay Malik's 14 points led a fierce comeback attempt. Despite the Titans' resistance, UP Yoddhas established an early lead, inflicting two all-outs to go into the halftime break with an 11-point advantage.

However, the Telugu Titans weren't ready to give up. They capitalized on a late all-out against the Yoddhas, with Vijay Malik completing his Super 10 and sparking hope of a stunning comeback. The Titans managed to cut the lead to just five points, but Gagan Gowda sealed the victory for UP Yoddhas with a crucial Super Raid in the final moments, ensuring a strong start to their campaign.

In the second match, U Mumba and the Gujarat Giants battled to a thrilling 29-29 tie, forcing the second tiebreaker of the season. U Mumba’s defense, led by Lokesh Ghosliya and Rohit Raghav, who each scored four tackle points, proved to be the difference-maker. Despite Gujarat's efforts, including a first-half all-out that gave them a narrow lead, U Mumba’s tenacious defense kept them in the game, registering a couple of key Super Tackles to take a temporary lead.

The match remained deadlocked until the end of regulation. In the tiebreaker, U Mumba's Ajit Chouhan set the tone with an early two-point raid.
