Paris Saint-Germain fought back from a 3-1 deficit to secure a 3-3 draw against Strasbourg in the Ligue 1 encounter at the Parc des Princes. Strasbourg came close to their first league win in Paris in 34 games, but a late equalizer from Senny Mayulu rescued a point for the hosts. The draw keeps PSG at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with 17 points, just one point ahead of Strasbourg, who moved into second place.

PSG took an early lead in the sixth minute when Bradley Barcola finished off a one-two with Désiré Doué. The match featured the two Doué brothers on opposing sides, and both were pivotal. Strasbourg equalized when Guéla Doué provided the cross for Joaquín Panichelli to score with a header. The visitors then took a halftime lead after a misplaced pass from Désiré Doué was intercepted, leading to a Diego Moreira goal.

Strasbourg extended their lead four minutes into the second period through Panichelli again. The Argentine forward, who was a handful all evening, received a cross from Moreira and finished clinically for his second goal of the match. The strike marked Panichelli’s seventh goal in eight games this season, continuing his impressive run of form.

Facing a two-goal deficit, PSG began their comeback. Désiré Doué earned a penalty in the 58th minute after being felled by Strasbourg keeper Mike Penders, and Gonçalo Ramos converted from the spot. The equalizer came with nine minutes left, as the 19-year-old Senny Mayulu reacted quickly to head in the rebound after his initial shot was parried by Penders, leveling the score at 3-3.

Despite missing key players like Ousmane Dembélé and Marquinhos, PSG pushed for a winner but could not find one. Strasbourg, managed by Liam Rosenior and featuring players like Julio Enciso and Ben Chilwell, left with a hard-earned point that solidifies their strong start to the season. PSG will now turn their attention to the Champions League, where they face Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday.
