PUNE: Tushar Aswani and Rajesh Kasat came good with bat and ball respectively to steer their teams to contrasting wins as Lions and Sailors won in the sixth edition of Poona Club Premier League Cricket at the club ground here on Tuesday.
Chasing Warriors’ 50 for 5, Lions began impressively thanks to Aswani;s 16-ball 28 and went past the target with two balls to spare. In the Sailors v All Star Match, Kasat snapped up three wickets to restrict All Star to 46 for 4 after having put up 64 for 5 in the allotted 6 overs.
