Pune: Arihant College of Arts, Commerce and Science won a five goal thriller 3-2 against seasoned Nowrosjee Wadia College in a senior boys’ qualifier of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament here on Monday.

The hero of the day was striker Vicky Pujari who netted a brace, including the matchwinner for Arihant five minutes before the finish.

In a match of fluctuating fortunes at the PDFA ground, Dobarwadi, Arihant College took the lead early when Kasim Sayyed found the net in the eighth minute. However, Prathamesh Tekade (29th) levelled the scores for Nowrosjee Wadia as both teams went into the break on an even keel.
