The project aligns seamlessly with India’s National Quantum Mission (2023–2031), which focuses on advancing quantum computing, communications, sensing, and materials research. Andhra Pradesh’s efforts are poised to contribute significantly to this mission by fostering multi-institution collaborations and practical applications of quantum technologies.

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu emphasized the transformative potential of quantum technology:
“Just as we led the IT revolution decades ago, Andhra Pradesh will lead advancements in quantum technology. This initiative will not only benefit our state but also position India as a leader in future computing.”

At the All-India Research Scholars Summit 2025 at IIT Madras, Naidu announced plans for a Quantum Valley Tower, likening it to Silicon Valley but focused on future computing technologies.
