

Apple has launched the all-new MacBook Neo, its most affordable laptop yet, featuring a durable aluminium chassis and a 13-inch Liquid Retina display. Available in four striking colours, blush, indigo, silver, and citrus, the laptop is powered by the A18 Pro chipset, first introduced on the iPhone 16 Pro series, offering smooth everyday performance at a lower price point.
Like the MacBook Air, it features a 13-inch Liquid Retina display, essentially an IPS LCD screen. To reduce costs, Apple included the A18 Pro, a smartphone chipset first introduced with the iPhone 16 Pro series.
To summarize briefly, the A18 Pro features a 6-core CPU, including 2 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. It is paired with a 5-core GPU capable of hardware-accelerated ray-tracing. Additionally, the chipset includes a 16-core NPU. Despite being a smartphone chipset, Apple claims the MacBook Neo can effortlessly handle daily activities such as web browsing, streaming media, photo editing, and utilizing AI tools.

The MacBook Neo is now available for pre-order through the Apple Store website and the Apple Store app. Official sales kick off on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. The base model starts at Rs 69,990, with higher storage options priced accordingly.
