Gurman points out that the previous iPhone 17 Pro series drew major attention not only for its redesigned internals and industrial look but also for the Cosmic Orange colour introduced in 2025. That vibrant hue has reportedly fueled demand in key markets like China, where some buyers have even compared it to the luxury tones of Hermès.
There are also rumours of purple and brown finishes, but Gurman suggests these could be variations of the deep red rather than separate colour options. It’s unclear whether Apple will retain last year’s Cosmic Orange, as having both shades might be challenging given their similarity on the colour spectrum.
The iPhone Fold is reportedly taking a different design approach, focusing on utilitarian colours rather than experimental hues. The foldable device is expected to launch in classic shades such as dark grey, black, silver, and white.
