Technology brand OnePlus recently unveiled the OnePlus Watch, the company's first-ever global wearable device. The most-awaited device is the company's first such product, barring the OnePlus band, in the wearables category.

The watch has introduced a premium design, along with seamless connection, smart fitness tracking and extended battery life, and it comes as an innovative addition to the company's product portfolio, with a step towards completing a connected ecosystem.

"The OnePlus Watch is the latest extension of the company's strategy. While OnePlus remained focused on smartphones for a long time, we believe creating smart products that fit effortlessly in our connected ecosystem aligns with our mission to create a burdenless user experience. The OnePlus Watch brings us one step closer to that, offering stylish design, seamless connection, smart fitness tracking and outstanding long battery life," said Pete Lau, founder and CEO of OnePlus.

Design: The OnePlus Watch has a smooth arc on the side of the case, which comes hand-polished with more than 20 treatments with a refined finish. The 46mm case is made of high-quality stainless steel, with 2.5D curved glass on the face and a glossy CD pattern on the display bezel.

Connectivity: The OnePlus Watch allows you to manage your notifications, make and answer calls and control your music from your wrist. It includes 4GB of standalone storage, a built-in GPS and the ability to connect with compatible Bluetooth earphones; you can also navigate a complete smartphone-free experience. The OnePlus Watch can also be paired with the OnePlus TV, and it acts like a smart remote control that can lower volume during an incoming call and even turn off the TV once it detects you have fallen asleep.

Battery: The OnePlus Watch reportedly delivers all-day power in five minutes and week's charge in no more than 20 minutes. The 402mAh battery ensures up to two weeks of sustainable use -- as well as up to a week of power for the more active users.

Fitness: The OnePlus watch features 5ATM and IP68 water and dust resistance and 110+ workout types, including automatic workout detection for jogging and running. It lets you indulge in intense workouts (the complete set of workout modes will be available to users with updates in the following months). It also allows you to monitor your personal performance with metrics such as pulse, distance, calories, speed monitoring and SWOLF efficiency for swimmers. With a built-in GPS, the OnePlus Watch tracks all your activity even when the phone is not next to you. It also offers blood oxygen saturation monitoring, stress detection, breathing training, rapid heart rate alerts and sedentary reminders, all accessible on the OnePlus Health app.

Price & Availability: The OnePlus Watch will be available at a special launch price of INR 14,999/- for the Midnight Black and Moonlight Silver variant. All Red Cable Club members can get early access to the OnePlus Watch via the Red Cable First Sale on OnePlus.in, and the OnePlus Store App starting 9:00 AM, 21 April 2021.
