Reliance Jio has announced a major upgrade to its AI partnership with Google, expanding the Jio Gemini offer to all Unlimited 5G users and including the latest Google Gemini 3 model. This marks the largest expansion of Jio’s AI initiative, which began earlier this year as a youth-exclusive offer, providing 18 months of the Gemini Pro Plan at no extra cost.
With the latest update, the age restriction has been completely lifted, and Google's latest Gemini 3 AI model is now included in the package. The previous offer provided access to Gemini 2.5 Pro and was limited to users between the ages of 18 and 25 who had eligible Unlimited 5G plans.
Jio announced that the revised offer now features two significant enhancements: eligibility has been broadened to encompass all Jio Unlimited 5G users, not just young users, and an upgrade from the Gemini 2.5 Pro to the latest Gemini 3 model. All qualifying users will still benefit from 18 months of complimentary access to the Gemini Pro plan, which includes 2 TB of cloud storage, AI tools for creating images and videos, and access to Google's apps and services.
Gemini 3 brings enhanced multimodal capabilities, improved reasoning, and faster performance across generative tasks including coding, translation, document analysis, and creative outputs. Jio says the upgraded offer is part of its mission to “democratise AI access” by delivering high-end AI tools to every 5G user in India.
