Mivi, the Indian consumer tech brand from Hyderabad, has introduced Mivi AI, a groundbreaking voice-based artificial intelligence chatbot designed to engage users in natural, real-time conversations. Unlike traditional chatbots, Mivi AI can remember previous interactions using its Memory feature, enabling personalised responses tailored to each user’s preferences and history.
The AI chatbot comes with five pre-built avatars—chef, guru, interviewer, news reporter, and wellness coach, each specialised for different tasks, enhancing the user experience. Mivi AI mimics human speech patterns with natural intonation, pitch, and pauses, creating what the company calls “human-like AI.”
Accessible primarily through Mivi’s upcoming AI Buds, the first earbuds to integrate this technology, users can activate the assistant simply by saying “Hi Mivi.” The earbuds provide seamless, hands-free interaction, understanding Indian accents and dialects, a feature that sets it apart from many global AI assistants.
Mivi AI leverages advanced Large Language Models (LLMs) combined with Natural Language Processing (NLP), emotional intelligence, and contextual awareness. This allows the AI to maintain context even when conversations branch into different topics, respond empathetically to emotional cues, and recall past conversations to build a personalized user persona.
Midhula Devabhaktuni, Co-founder and CMO of Mivi, described this launch as “India’s AI moment,” emphasizing that Mivi AI is not just a product but a global technological milestone developed entirely in India. The company envisions expanding this AI ecosystem beyond earbuds to other smart devices, aiming to redefine human-AI interaction with emotionally aware, intuitive partners.
