Taiwanese company, Republic of Gamers (ROG), launched three gaming smartphones under its ROG Phone 5 series in India. ROG Phone 5 will be available at a starting price of Rs 49,999, while ROG Phone 5 Pro is priced at Rs 69,999. Lastly, the ROG Phone 5 Ultimate will be available at 79,999. Asus' ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is the first (and the only) smartphone available with 18GB LPDDR5 RAM in India.

ROG Phone 5

Overview: Asus ROG Phone 5 utilises the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G processor. It supports high-level 5G communications and is topped with Qualcomm Snapdragon Elite Gaming features up to 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.

Camera: ROG Phone 5 comes with a tri-camera set-up at the rear with Sony flagship IMX686 64MP as the main camera, 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Additionally, it features a 24MP selfie camera on its front.

Display: The device hosts a Samsung-built AMOLED HDR10+(2448x1080) certified display with a refresh rate of 144 Hz.

Battery: Powered by a 6,000mAh battery, the phone comes with a 30-watt HyperCharge adapter.

ROG Phone 5 Pro

Overview: The Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor. Additionally, it allows 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Camera: Like the ROG Phone 5, the device rear packs a 64MP primary camera, a second 13MP camera, and a third 5MPl camera. It also sports a 24MP front camera for selfies.

Display: Asus ROG Phone 5 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080x2448 pixels at a pixel density of 395 pixels per inch.

ROG Phone 5 Ultimate

Overview: Asus' ROG Phone 5 Ultimate Edition is the world's first phone to feature 18GB of RAM. The maximum internal storage of the device goes up to 512GB.

Display: Like Phone 5 and 5 Pro, the Ultimate Edition come with the same display features. It has an AMOLED panel that shows up to one billion colours, a 144 Hz refresh rate, Full HD+ resolution, and HDR10+ certification.

Camera: Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also features a tri-camera set-up, featuring the same dimensions. The device packs a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 24MP selfie camera on its front.

Battery: ROG Phone 5 Ultimate edition has a battery capacity of 6000 mAh and supports 65W fast charging. It features the same charging technology and reverse charging support.
