Amid the flurry of smartphone launches this week, HMD Global too teased its audience with a global event scheduled on April 8, 2021. The company, which is the organisation behind Nokia phones, usually unveils its new phones at the Mobile World Congress every year in Barcelona. The launch is scheduled to be on April 8, 2020 at 3:00 PM UK time. Indian audience can catch it live at 8:30 PM same day.
However, in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic, the phone launch is set to be a virtual one this year.
Without revealing much, the brand has posted a picture with the hashtag #LoveTrustKeep on its official website. It features a man standing in the backdrop of pine trees, lending a Nordic-feel to the launch.
There have been rumours floating around Nokia's G Series, a mid-range gaming phone. Several leaks also spoke about how the phone could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset. However, this remains unconfirmed by the organisation.
