The Oppo Reno 15 series is gearing up for its global debut after launching in China, and it’s shaping up to be a promising option for users who prioritise strong cameras and creator-friendly features.
Staying true to the Reno lineup’s focus on imaging and reliable performance, the new series aims to level up everyday photography. Though Oppo hasn’t confirmed an India launch date yet, industry insiders widely expect the Reno 15 to hit the Indian market in the coming weeks.
The Reno 15 Pro launched in China at CNY 3,699, which is roughly Rs 46,000. The standard Oppo Reno 15 is expected to arrive at a lower price point, likely starting between Rs 32,000 and Rs 38,000 depending on RAM and storage variants. Final pricing will be confirmed at launch, but Oppo is expected to keep the Reno lineup competitive in the upper-mid segment.
Oppo is expected to focus on performance stability, camera upgrades and thermal efficiency. The Reno 15 series globally features Oppo’s ColorOS 16 platform and advanced cooling systems tailored for gaming and live streaming. In India, the Reno 15 is likely to include a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, a triple-camera setup, fast charging, and improved heat dissipation for long content-creation sessions.
Expected Features
Improved primary rear camera with better low-light performance
Wide-angle and portrait-oriented secondary lenses
Autofocus front camera with AI tools for enhanced video and live streaming
Around 5,000mAh battery with fast wired charging support
AI-based performance optimisation for smoother long-term use
The Reno 15 is likely to adopt the Pro model’s flat-frame look, prioritising a slim, comfortable feel. Users can also expect better durability, brighter displays and improved creator-centric capabilities, making it a strong option for vloggers, mobile photographers and casual gamers in India.
