Samsung has expanded its M-series lineup in India with the launch of the Galaxy M47 5G, marking the return of the Galaxy M4x series to the country after a long gap. The new mid-range smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and features a 120Hz AMOLED display, a 6,000mAh battery and Android 16 out of the box. Notably, the Galaxy M44, which debuted in select global markets nearly three years ago, was never launched in India.
The Galaxy M47 5G competes in the sub-Rs 25,000 segment, where brands have been offering feature-packed smartphones. Samsung’s differentiator, like always, is its long-term software support, which is unmatched in the segment.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 5G is priced at ₹22,999, including applicable coupon offers. The smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon during the Prime Day Sale starting July 4.
