Vivo has launched its new budget smartphone Y05 in India, expanding its entry-level portfolio. The device features Extended RAM technology, offering up to 8GB RAM-like performance by combining physical and virtual memory. It was earlier introduced in select markets such as Malaysia and Saudi Arabia before arriving in India. In the country, the phone is listed on Vivo’s official website and is also available through offline retail stores.
The Vivo Y05 starts at ₹12,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. A higher variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage has also been introduced, though its price has not yet been announced. The smartphone is available in two colour options: Midnight Blue and Champagne Gold.
