On Wednesday, MapmyIndia, a domestically developed digital navigation and mapping platform, revealed that its tools for capturing addresses and discovering leads will be integrated directly into Zoho’s customer relationship management (CRM) system.

Chennai-based enterprise giant Zoho Corp has partnered with homegrown mapping firm MapmyIndia (Mappls) to integrate advanced address capture and lead discovery tools directly into Zoho CRM. The companies described the collaboration as a “landmark” step for Indian tech, aimed at boosting efficiency for businesses across the country.

“MapmyIndia Mappls Address Capture and Nearby Lead Finder capabilities will help Zoho CRM users work smarter and sell better, while keeping all data and innovation securely within India,” said Rakesh Verma, Co-Founder and Group Chairman, MapmyIndia.

Zoho CEO Mani Vembu highlighted the synergy between business and spatial intelligence: “This integration empowers Indian businesses by providing field teams with location-aware insights, enabling them to serve customers more effectively.”

With the integration, Zoho CRM enterprise customers can now:

  • Capture verified addresses

  • Visualise customer locations

  • Discover potential leads nearby

  • Optimise sales routes

All of this runs on MapmyIndia’s indigenous mapping platform, providing a local alternative to global mapping solutions. According to the companies, the new tools will allow businesses to operate more efficiently, make informed decisions, and enhance customer service.

The announcement comes amid a recent surge in adoption of Indian tech products, accelerated by the government’s push for Swadeshi digital solutions. MapmyIndia has been positioned as a competitor to Google Maps, while Zoho’s messaging app Arattai is being promoted as an alternative to WhatsApp.

Both companies have seen renewed attention following the Central Government’s campaign to encourage Made in India digital products, highlighting the growing importance of homegrown tech in India’s enterprise landscape.
