ICICI Bank Issues 1.51 Lakh Equity Shares on ESOS Exercise, Boosting Paid-Up Capital

Private lender expands equity base as employees exercise stock options, marginally increasing paid-up share capital

Mumbai: On Tuesday, ICICI Bank reported that it has issued 151,181 equity shares. These shares were allotted on 14 July 2026 under the ICICI Bank Employees Stock Option Scheme-2000.

Share Details

Each equity share carries a nominal value of Rs 2. This issuance increases the bank’s overall equity capital base.

Approval Process

The allotment received approval from two Executive Directors on Tuesday at 10.31 a.m.

This measure was carried out under authority delegated to them by the bank’s Board of Directors, which convened on 21 October 2023.
