Markets open on a higher note on Wednesday

MUMBAI: The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex) on Wednesday opened on a positive note during the morning session of the trade.

The Sensex of the BSE after opening at 35,328.91 points and touched a high of 35,357.15 points and a low of 35,261.75 points.

On Monday, the Sensex closed at 35,160.36 points as Tuesday was a trading holiday.

The Sensex is trading at 35,249.01 points up by 88.65 points or 0.25 per cent.

On the other hand, the broader 51-scrip Nifty at National Stock Exchange (NSE) opened at 10,783.85 points after closing at 10,739.35 points.

The Nifty is trading at 10,774.30 points in the morning.
