Thomas Cook launches new tours to Europe

ST CORRESPONDENT

PUNE:  Thomas Cook India, that faced the brunt of the collapse of its original parent company in the UK a couple of months ago, has now launched attractive new Europe tours to attract Indian customers. The company has also introduced renowned Marathi actor Subodh Bhave as a brand ambassador.

According to Thomas Cook President and Country Head (Holidays, MICE, Visa) Rajeev Kale, the company has shown a 27 per cent growth in demand for its Regional Tours from Maharashtra - led by key source markets of Pune, along with the surrounding regional towns of Nashik, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Solapur among others.

To maximise the growth opportunity from Maharashtra, Thomas Cook India has offered its customers an opportunity to interact with Subodh Bhave at a gala event during their Europe holiday on May 18 and 19, 2020.

Thomas Cook India has also introduced regional Maharashtrian tours such as Aakarshak and Avismarniya Sahli series across Europe, USA, Asia and Australia and key elements include a friendly Marathi speaking experienced Thomas Cook Tour Manager, fondly referred to as ‘Bhau’, the company of Marathi speaking co-travellers and the comfort of delicious Maharashtrian cuisine while on tour (poha, upma, aamras, etc.).
