After Amitabh Bachchan, veteran actor Anupam Kher's mother tests positive for COVID-19

Mumbai: A day after the heartbreaking news from Big B of Bollywood, veteran actor Anupam Kher's mother, Dulari also tested positive for the novel coronavirus. The actor broke the news through his Twitter account with a video. However, the actor's report suggests being negative for the virus.

Kher's mother has been admitted to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai. Along with her, other family members from the Kher family like his brother Raju Kher, sister-in-law and niece have also tested positive for the highly contagious virus.

Kher took to social media and wrote, "This is to inform all that my mother Dulari is found COVID + (Mildly). We have admitted her into Kokilaben Hospital. My brother, bhabhi & niece in spite of being careful have also tested mildly positive.I got myself tested as well & I have tested negative.@mybmc is informed."

On Saturday, Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan informed that they too have the novel Coronavirus. Both senior and junior Bachchan is admitted to Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai. The legendary actor broke the news through different social media platforms which he uses. He wrote on Twitter about getting tested positive and urged everyone who came in contact with him in the recent past to get tested too.

He took to Twitter saying, "I have tested COVID-19 positive .. shifted to Hospital .. hospital informing authorities .. family and staff undergone tests , results awaited ..All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested," while his son wrote, "Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you."
