Celebrating its 20th anniversary, Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2019 has an all-star line-up of designers including Abraham and Thakore, Rohit Gandhi and Rahul Khanna, Amit Aggarwal, Narendra Kumar, Payal Singhal, Nachiket Barve and many others. 

The grand event kicked off on Tuesday at Famous Studios with a show by iconic designer Manish Malhotra in partnership with premium expert care wash range Love & Care. Among those who walked the ramp were Khushi Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. 

INIFD is once again the official knowledge partner, and will present the prestigious Gen Next program on Wednesday. Five labels that will make their debut at the fashion event are Amaare, Anatomy, Little Things Studio, Noié Noéi, Ura Maku and Zilzom.

Sustainable Fashion Day will celebrate the rich heritage of Indian handloom and indigenous craft with a special focus on the environment, artisans and weavers. On August 22, the magic of Indian heritage crafts will be brought to life by various designers. Initiatives such as the aLL — the plus size store present aLL Primero by Rina Dhaka — will once again push the envelope while embracing and endorsing inclusivity in the fashion industry. 

Designer duo Gauri and Nainika will present their powerful collection at the grand finale on August 25.
