Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has signed Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's next project titled Fanney Khan. The film is being produced by Prernaa Arora of Kriarj Entertainment.
Since her comeback, the actress has worked in films like Jazbaa, Sarbjit and Ae Di Hai Mushkil. However, details about her character in Fanney Khan are yet to be made known.
“Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is an icon herself and working with her will be a sincere privilege. I have always admired her for the way she has made her mark in this industry and awaited an opportunity to work with her. Now that I got a role that I could only imagine her portraying, I did not want to let it go. It’s like a dream come true and I look forward to start work with her,” said Prernaa Arora in a statement.
The production has been associating with some of the finest directors and production houses in the industry. After the success of their debut production Rustom, it has an interesting line-up of films coming up such as Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet: Ek Prem Katha and Padman, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran in association with JA Entertainment starring John Abraham, a film with Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate films, and an untitled film with Irrfan Khan and Deepika Padukone in association with Vishal Bharadwaj.
