In the upcoming episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s, The Kapil Sharma Show,  Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, director Rohit Shetty and filmmaker Karan Johar will appear to promote their film Sooryavanshi. 

When Kapil Sharma prodded Katrina that why it took so long for the two stars to come together for a film, and Katrina said, “Akshay has been very busy for the past 10 years, hence we couldn’t get the time to finalise the script and come on board together as a lead couple” to which Akshay jokingly interrupted and said, “I offered two films to her.”
 
Katrina smiled and further added, “I would like to thank Akshay, as during my initial days, he was of immense support to me as a co-star. He used to stand in front of me every time when I used to give a shot and encourage me. His feedback helped me to improve my acting skills and I can surely say that he was one of the few actors who believed in me.” Adding to the conversation, Akshay said, “I feel that the best film of yours till now is Namaste London.”
