Ekta Kapoor was seen gracing the red carpet of Busan International Film Festival where her upcoming film Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare had its world premiere. She, along with the director Alankrita Shrivastava and actors Konkona Sen Sharma and Bhumi Pednekar walked the red carpet of the festival on October 3.
The first look of the film appealed to the audience and since then the release of the film has been eagerly awaited. The film is a coming of age story of two rebellious and transgressive women through whom we explore female desire, the claiming of independence and moral ambiguity of women in today’s times. The critically acclaimed and award winning film Lipstick Under My Burkha, which was screened at almost a hundred film festivals across the world and has 18 international awards to its credit, was also produced by Ekta and directed by Alankrita. This producer-director duo have come together again for Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.
