Last evening, Phoenix Marketcity hosted a fund-raising runway show in association with BETI, an initiative by Anu Ranjan to enable education, restorative operations on children and women, and acid victims.

The event saw over 20 actors from the film and television industry who walked the ramp in support of the cause, wearing designs by designers - Mohini and Rohit Bal. Some of the prominent names included Abhishek Bajaj, Abhishek Malik, Aishwarya Sakhuja, Alokk Narula, Ankit Gera, Ankitta Sharma, Anshu Narula, Bandgi Kalra, Helly Shah, Jaswir Kaur, Jia Mustafa, Kanchi Singh, Kushagre Dua, Latika Gill, Pooja Bannerjee, Puneesh Sharma, Rima Ramanuj, Rohan Mehra, Sana Sheikh, Charu Asopa and Tashne Ishq, among many others.

Choreographed by fashion director Sandeep Dharma, the event was attended by close to 200 guests. Beti pursues gender equality, empowerment of women and other endeavours for restoring dignity to victims through various events like fashion shows and sport matches and other such events with the support of television and Bollywood fraternity.
