Get Ready For The Battle

Vishwakarandak 2019, one of the most awaited college fests held in VIT, Pune, is just around the corner. The fest will be held at the college campus from October 14 to 16, and this time the theme is Avengers: Civil War! So expect a thrilling, spectacular war between the various departments of VIT to win the battle!  

Every year, students from various departments like Computer, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering etc compete against each other to win the Vishwakarandak for their respective departments. Vishwakarandak covers a large number of domains, right from technical events like ‘C — Athelon’ that tests your programming skills, to cultural events like Mi Atre Boltoy. Events like Game of Democracy,  embraces the leader in you, and sporting events like football, cricket and so on are also part of the fest.
 
In keeping with this year’s theme Avengers, every department has been allotted their favourite Marvel superhero because of which the excitement level in the college is quite high. Personalised t-shirts and a number of theme related gifts and games are something to look out for! Students have already begun their preparations and selection for the sports teams are underway. Along with outdoor games, e-sports are also popular events.

Every winner will be awarded prizes and s/he will also win points for his/ her department. Vishwakarandak gives engineering students some time off from their demanding schedules to bond with each other and make new friends. It also encourages great teamwork and support for fellow participants, and that makes it very special. 

Like every year, this time too the fest promises to be engaging and exciting and every VITian will work hard to wear with pride the Vishwakarandak title.
