Main Anil ji ki nayi film ko bahut shubhkaamanayein deti hun.” The actor and the singer share a very special bond as the notable singer has done playback singing for many of Anil’s films.

The trailer also gives us a glimpse of how Anil wants his daughter to become the next Lata Mangeshkar. In one of the dialogues in the trailer Anil says, ‘Main Mohmad Rafi toh nahi ban saka, lekein tere ko Lata Mangeshkar zaroor banaunga. Meri Lata.’

The song is in reference to the campaign ‘Achche Din’. It’s a story about a father played by Anil Kapoor who wishes to fulfill the dream of his daughter, who is an aspirational singer.

It also stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Anil Kapoor, it’s directed by Atul Manjrekar. The film is all set to release on August 3.
