Midge Maisel is a Jewish housewife with a charismatic personality. When her husband leaves her, she goes on to pursue a successful career in stand up comedy. Shuffling between building her empire and being a mother, she learns to manage both. In a time when everybody expected Midge to be a stay-at-home mum looking after her kids, she went ahead and made a name for herself in the male-dominated comedy industry. Rebecca from This is Us raises three children, each with their own set of problems. She constantly works towards keeping her family together and spends a lot of her time worrying about her children. Beverly Hofstadter from ‘The Big Bang Theory’
The extremely bright and intelligent mother of Leonard Hofstadter. She is a neuroscientist, an award-winning psychiatrist, and an author. She is firm and rather distant, but she always wants the best for Leonard even if she doesn’t express it as clearly. She knew how to push her son out of his comfort zone and make him strive to achieve greater heights. Marge Simpson from ‘The Simpsons’
Marge, voiced by Julie Kavner, is a woman of morals, which makes her a strict mother. She is the force which drives her family. She disciplines her kids with unique measures. When Bart’s attention-seeking behaviour goes out of control, she makes him do community service. But she’s also a very loving mother to her daughters and shares a beautiful bond with Lisa and Maggie, who often take her side in any matter of family conflict.
