One with nature

Balraj

Wildlife has always fascinated me from my childhood. I think its calmness is what draws me to it, apart from the fresh air, that is so rejuvenating. I recently visited Jim Corbett National Park with my friends and I can safely say it has been one of my best trips, so far.

In my profession, it’s always good to have a getaway of this type, where you are one with nature and you also follow a strict schedule. We had to wake up by 5 every morning and we retired early at night too. We stayed at the government guest house where we had to abide by the rules in order to enjoy the trip to its fullest.

The park had two wild safaris a day and we didn’t miss either of them. I saw a tiger chasing a deer for a while before it was hunted down. The best part of the safari is that the animals don’t harm you, if you don’t disturb them in any way.

I clicked some lovely pictures of tigers, deer, leopards and I plan to auction them for charity. This was one of the most memorable trips and I urge everyone to visit Jim Corbett National Park, at least once. I plan to visit it again, very soon.
