Star Plus is all set to come up with its next big launch, Ikyawann. The show which will soon go on air will see the return of athlete-turned-actor, Prachi Tehlan on television. The actress was last seen in Diya Aur Baati Hum playing the role of Arzoo.

Ikyawann explores the story of Susheel (played by Prachi) who is brought up by four men and bears boy-like mannerisms and is bullied by the society for how she is. But she never loses hope and breaks the stereotype by accepting who she is and not bothering about what others have to say.

Keeping in mind the demand of the character, we hear that the makers were on the prowl for an actress taller than usual. Turns out that Prachi was the choice and she candidly gives all the credit to her height for landing up this role.

Talking about the same, Prachi said, “I am 5 feet 11 inches and that’s a very rare height for any girl to have otherwise. But since I’ve been an athlete and now actor, I am blessed with the great height. This role is truly tailor-made for me because I have all the qualities that the makers wanted in Susheel and somehow when things have to fall in place, they do and I’m really glad to be part of a show that has such a beautiful message to give out.”
