Sakal Times

For past few weeks, there were constant speculations about Salman Khan collaborating with Sanjay Leela Bhansali on his next project. But no official announcement came from the either side. On Tuesday morning, it was confirmed that SLB has signed Salman and Alia Bhat for his upcoming project Inshallah.

Industry expert Taran Adarsh confirmed the news on his twitter handle. He wrote, “#BreakingNews: All speculations come to an end... Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's #Inshallah... Solo Salman Khan starrer.”

Later Alia took to Instagram to share the news. She wrote, “I was nine when I first walked into Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s office, all nervous and hoping and praying that I would be in his next film. It's been a long wait.”

“Dream with your eyes wide open they say and I did. I can’t wait to join on this beautiful journey called Inshallah. Sanjay Sir and Salman Khan are magical together,” she further wrote.

Salman too shared the news on Twitter and said, “It’s been 20 years but I am glad Sanjay and I are finally back in his next film, Inshallah. Looking forward to work with Alia and inshallah we will all be blessed on this journey. #Inshallah #SLB @aliaa08 @bhansali_produc @SKFilmsOfficial.”

The filmmaker and Salman has worked together in Khamoshi: The Musical (1996), Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999) and Sawariya (2007).
