The multi-talented actor and stand-up artist Vir Das, after exploring almost six continents across the world, is now getting into producing content on various platforms of entertainment. Apart from producing live shows, the company ventured into content through developing scripts, concepts for award shows, brand, and advertisements. It has already progressed in producing original content for the Netflix show — Abroad Understanding.

Now, it’s venturing into film production and developing scripts. The production house is currently in talks with some of the best names in the film industry to lend content support. Over the years, Vir has grown as a performing artist not only in India but across the world and is all set to share his experience by producing content in India as well as abroad. With comedy at its core, this will be a huge foray for the Vir Das production Weirdass Comedy in the coming years.

Said Vir, “This is a good phase for Weirdass Comedy. We’re venturing into production with two big projects this year. Hasmukh is soon going on the floor; I’m also portraying the role of a serial killer in the movie. By the second half, we will start work on Happy Patel and a non-fiction web series. The idea is to build me into an all-rounder content creator with focus on my acting, production, stand-up and writing.”
