‘I wish Remo choreographs for me one day!’

As a part of ’90s theme, India’s dancing queen Karisma Kapoor was the celebrity guest on Star Plus’ Dance+4. One of the crews gave a surprise tribute to super judge Remo D’Souza, capturing his inspiring journey as a background dancer, to an accomplished choreographer and filmmaker in Bollywood. Post the act reminiscing about his journey, he shared an interesting fact with Karisma that he was the part of her super hit song Sundara Sundara from Rakshak as a background dancer, which left Karisma completely surprised as she wasn’t aware of the fact and couldn’t remember it. Appreciating Remo’s hard work and his successful journey, she mentioned ‘I wish Remo choreographs for me some day!’. Acknowledging the importance of background dancers, Karisma also said, “Back up dancers are such a big support to us actors and their contribution in the song is immense.” The dancing diva, was floored with the talent on the show and joined them on stage as they surprised her by performing on the medley of her chartbuster songs — Oonchi Hai Building, Tan Tana Tan, Sona Kitna Sona Hai, Chak Doom Chak Doom, Ishq Hai Suhana, Tum To Dhokebaaz Ho and many more. She danced with Remo to her popular track What Is Mobile Number from Haseena Man Jaayegi recreating the same hook steps amidst thunderous applause. ST
