After six years of marriage, Kim Kardashian and rapper Kanye West have filed for a divorce. For quite some time there have been speculations that the couple’s marriage was on the rocks. With the divorce being filed, the rumours have turned out to be true!

The reports suggest that the divorce is going to be an amicable one and that it won't hamper Kanye’s relationship with their children. The reality star has asked for joint physical and legal custody of their four kids. Kim and Kanye have four children - daughters North, 7, and Chicago, 3 - and sons Saint, 5, and Psalm West is a year old.

"He still wants to play a huge role in their lives and Kim would never discourage that. He is no longer living at the house with Kim and the kids," a source said, according to eonline.com. "When he sees the kids, he meets them elsewhere," another insider said.

Kim and Kanye got married in 2014 amid heavy media attention in Italy. Though the divorce is yet to be final, reports suggest that the couple lived separately for months.
