Mumbai: Veteran Marathi actor Ravi Patwardhan passes away at 84

Senior Marathi actor Ravi Patwardhan passed away in Mumbai on Sunday.

Veteran Marathi and Hindi actor Ravi Patwardhan passed away on Sunday.

He was admitted to the hospital on Saturday after he complained about breathing problem. This year in March, the actor had suffered a heart-attack.

Born on September 6, 1937, the veteran acted in more than 150 plays and over 200 movies so far. He was popular after he played a great role in Hindi film Tezab. He also starred in multiple films such as Bond, Yeshwant to name a few. He was recently seen in daily soap Aga Bai Sasubai starring Girish Oak, Nivedita Saraf and Tejashree Pradhan.

The 84-year-old died followed by a heart attack. He is survived by wife, two sons, daughters-in-law, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren.
