Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, is facing legal issues after being called in by the Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANC) of the Mumbai Police's crime branch on November 20. According to recent reports from the news agency PTI, Orry did not show up before the Mumbai Police and has asked for more time until November 25. Orry was summoned following allegations made by suspected drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, who is thought to have connections with the Dawood Ibrahim gang.
According to reports, Shaikh disclosed that he organized grand parties in both Dubai and Mumbai, attended by numerous well-known figures such as Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor, Siddhant Kapoor, filmmakers Abbas–Mustan, rapper Loka, Orry, and NCP leader Zeeshan Siddique.
According to the Hindustan Times, an ANC official stated that Orry has been called to their Ghatkopar office for questioning on Thursday morning.
What was the case ?
In March 2024, authorities confiscated 126.14 kg of mephedrone valued at approximately Rs 252 crore from a production facility located on a farm in Sangli. As the inquiry commenced, Mohammed Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh was subsequently apprehended following the deportation of two individuals from Dubai.
Following that, the two admitted to organising rave parties across India and abroad for celebrities.

He is a well-known socialite, lifestyle influencer, and internet figure based in Mumbai, closely connected with Bollywood celebrities. Orry has been seen with several top-tier Bollywood stars, including Janhvi Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Aishwarya Rai. However, despite the news of the summons, Orry has not yet released a statement regarding the matter.
