Salman Khan has reacted to statements and interviews by Dabangg director Abhinav Kashyap, with a sarcastic inquiry about whether Kashyap has secured employment. Abhinav has criticized Salman and his family, labeling him as a 'thug and ill-tempered'. On Bigg Boss 19's Weekend ka Vaar, during an informal conversation with guest stand-up comedian Ravi Gupta, Salman Khan expressed his thoughts about Abhinav.

During Bigg Boss 19, Ravi and Salman engaged in a game where the superstar was required to provide only incorrect answers. Once the segment concluded, Ravi remarked that this type of 'masala' creates content that is ideal for social media. In response, Salman Khan addressed the allegations made by Abhinav Kashyap against him. He stated, 'There is another bold person who has criticized Aamir Khan as well as me. I just want to say, in the last Weekend Ka Vaar, I mentioned just focus on work, nobody cares.

I feel like asking him again, 'bhai kaam mila kya ?' Salman went on, 'You should be smart enough to understand that by behaving in such a manner, where you criticize everyone, none of the people you mention will want to collaborate with you in the future. Those associated with them will also steer clear of working with you. When we offered you a second film, you turned it down; the praises you gave back then, you've now retracted all of them.

What saddens me is that you've harmed yourself. If you want to focus on someone's family, concentrate on your own, take care of your brother, love him, and your parents. Look after your wife and children; that's the least you can do. They are worried about you.'

“If someone gives you advice to think about what you say, then listen to them. I want to see you grow. Talented man, he writes well, but he shouldn’t do this the wrong way. You want to bring me on my knees, but I do that every day for God,” Salman Khan said.

This isn’t the first time Salman Khan has hit back at Abhinav Kashyap; last week, too, he had commented on some claims made by the Dabangg director. “People are just sitting and making any sort of claims.

In the past, we had a good relationship, and they often complimented me. However, their opinion of me has changed, and now they spend time on podcasts spreading falsehoods. They do this because they lack work. I encourage them and others to focus on being productive," Salman Khan previously stated.
