In recent months, actor Govinda has been making headlines due to allegations of cheating. Speculation about an affair intensified when his wife, Sunita Ahuja, commented on the rumors, mentioning that she too had heard about his supposed relationship with a younger actor. Sunita has occasionally remarked that newcomers in the industry often seek a 'sugar daddy'. In a recent interview, Govinda dismissed these rumors. However, in her latest vlog, Sunita has revisited the topic, revealing the one condition under which she would forgive Govinda.
Discussing the possibility of forgiving Govinda, Sunita Ahuja expressed, "You never know. He has been my love since childhood. If he alters his ways and aligns with what I consider right, I will forgive him." She further mentioned, "I don't want to learn everything from the news. At my age, I can't cope with such stress — I'm experiencing menopause. During this period, you need the support of your husband and children, not additional pressure."
When asked about the cheating allegations, Sunita mentioned that Govinda simply laughs them off and his responses are often unclear. She expressed that she has communicated her thoughts both subtly and directly, suggesting that a perceptive person would understand her hints. Reflecting on past rumors of Govinda's affairs, Sunita noted that the situation was different then because Govinda was afraid of his mother. However, since her passing, Sunita feels that Govinda has become more relaxed. She remarked, 'Even in the past, I said that if he had an affair, so be it. But everything has its time. In my youth, I also partied and enjoyed life, but there is a time for everything.'
Sunita Ahuja and Govinda tied the knot in 1987. They are the proud parents of their daughter Narmada, also known as Tina, and their son Yashvardhan. This March, the celebrity couple will mark their 39th wedding anniversary.
