For a couple of days there have been speculations about why Punjabi singer-actress Himanshi Khurana unfollowed singer-actor Jassie Gill on Instagram. Was it because of his music video with Shehnaaz Gill? 

Reacting to the reports, the former Bigg Boss contestant wrote a long post lashing out at people who are spreading the rumours. She said that the media has twisted her statement and printed it. 

Here’s Himanshi’s response:
“(1/1) Follow unfollow, What’s the ruckus behind this, First of all do your homework, I rarely followed Punjabi/Indian celebrities because never believe in these 'online rishte'. Pehle hi follow nahi kiya to unfollow kaha se karungi and I am not free at all to keep an eye what’s going on social media,” she tweeted.

“(1/2) ... who is following whom, who is commenting on whom posts. I made promotional tiktok on Jassi's earlier song because of our friendly relations,” she further wrote.

“(1/3) I still called @jassiegill and he said, ‘muje random call aaya media house se, they asked about this, I even don’t know what happened. They modified my statement and published.” Following unfollowing someone is not a proof of any Relation,” she wrote on Twitter.

Both Himanshi and Shehnaaz, who participated in Bigg Boss 13 which concluded in February this year, haven’t been on good terms. The actresses are popular names in the Punjabi film and music industry. In fact, when Shehnaaz became popular on the reality show, the makers had called and signed Himanshi expecting fireworks. When she came second time on the show, the two had become cordial to each other.

Himanshi has been in the news since the reality show went off air for her relationship with her fellow contestant Asim Riaz, whom she fell in love with during the show.
