Pune: Due to the rain over the past week, some roads in Bhosari have developed potholes, with some roads becoming riddled with them. Drivers are having to maneuver carefully to navigate through these potholes. There is a growing demand among drivers for immediate asphalt repairs.

The Dighi road in Bhosari has become riddled with potholes. The road from the CME boundary wall in Gangotri Park to Sant Nirankari Bhavan is full of potholes.

Additionally, gravel is scattered all over the road. Near Bansal City, a large pothole has formed near the sewer chamber, and some citizens have planted a tree in it.

The potholes have significantly narrowed the road, leading to traffic jams in Bhosari. On Friday (26th), waterlogging near the CME boundary wall caused further difficulties for drivers.

The gravel-filled trenches on the Pune-Nashik Highway from Roshan Garden to the Bhosari-Alandi road junction have opened up due to the rain, causing the gravel to wash away and leaving potholes in the trenches.

The road in Landewadi Chowk, from Chandni Chowk to PMC Chowk, and parts of Alandi road have also developed potholes, making it challenging for drivers.

In front of the ST stop, silt brought by rainwater has accumulated on the road near Sant Tukaram Banquet Hall and in front of the ST Corporation stop near Dhawade Vasti. On the Pune-Nashik Highway near Panjarpol, sand, gravel, and cement blocks have fallen on the roadside.

On Dighi Road, potholes in Gangotri Park have caused back pain for some motorcyclists due to the rough ride. Immediate asphalt repairs are needed for this road, according to driver Shyam Khandare.
