On Monday, Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke announced that he will return to India on June 6 and stage a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi, calling for the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This demonstration will be Dipke’s first trip to India since he launched the satirical political party, which has attracted considerable attention on social media.

Hello everyone, I have decided to return to India. Yes, I am coming back to my country, my home, India, to demand the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. For many days you have seen us raising our voices on social media, saying that because of the paper leak, the NEET students who died by suicide and the efforts of lakhs of students that have been ruined, Dharmendra Pradhan should step down,

The moment has arrived for all of us to unite, uphold the principles of the Constitution of India, and peacefully raise our voices to demand Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation. If we speak out together, they will certainly be compelled to listen to us.

'Students left anxious', says Dipke

Referring to the NEET paper leak controversy and the problems linked to recent exam results, Dipke claimed that the system has failed over ten million students, leaving them deeply worried about their future.Today, with 22 lakh NEET candidates, 17 lakh CBSE students, 16 lakh CUET candidates, and 40 lakh SSC GD aspirants, more than 1 crore students have seen their lives treated with disregard by the system. As a result, students are extremely anxious and fearful about their future. Someone must be held accountable for this.

Dipke also urged students and young people nationwide to exercise their constitutional right to demand accountability from the government and to participate in the protest. If the Education Minister does not step down even after such a serious blunder, it shows that accountability no longer exists in this country. It appears that the system is free to commit as many errors as it wishes without facing any repercussions, while all the consequences fall solely on the students.

Dipke's Delhi plan

Sharing information about his upcoming trip, Dipke said he intends to arrive in Delhi on June 6. He called on his supporters to gather at the airport and stated that afterward, they would all go together to seek permission for a peaceful protest.I have decided that I will arrive in Delhi on the morning of Saturday, 6 June. I want all of you to meet me at the airport. From there, we will go together to the Parliament Street Police Station to request permission to hold a peaceful protest at Jantar Mantar.

He stated that the movement would stay peaceful and concentrate on voicing its concerns through democratic means instead of resorting to confrontation.India’s Constitution grants us the right to peacefully speak out against injustices. Exercising that constitutional right, we will raise our voices, and I hope that all supporters of the Cockroach Jantar Party, along with students and young people concerned about this system, will join this protest. Everyone who believes that Dharmendra Pradhan should resign is urged to participate in this demonstration.

'How long will we live in fear?'

The CJP founder also responded to worries raised by his family, noting that his parents are afraid he might be detained as soon as he arrives in India. Nonetheless, he expressed hope that the authorities will permit the demonstration to take place without incident. My friends and family fear they may be detained and imprisoned. However, I still trust that our nation is a democracy and that we will be granted permission to demonstrate peacefully. I want to state clearly that I deeply admire Gandhi, Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, and Nehru, and I have the utmost faith in the Constitution of India, which I value above all else, as it grants us the right to speak up in a democratic society.

Dipke admirer of Gandhi, Ambedkar

Dipke portrayed himself as an admirer of Mahatma Gandhi, B.R. Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, and Jawaharlal Nehru, stating that he has deep faith in the Indian Constitution and in the democratic right to dissent. I want to state clearly that I deeply admire Gandhi, Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh, and Nehru, and I hold the Constitution of India above everything else, as it grants us the democratic right to speak up and be heard.”

Regarding the fear of imprisonment, how long are we expected to live in fear? This country does not belong to a single party; it belongs to all of us. This is fundamentally a matter of our collective future.

'Rejected job offers'

Dipke stated that although he had received several job offers in recent weeks, he decided instead to go back to India.I have recently received numerous job offers, but I have chosen not to accept any of them because I have decided to return to India. I love my country and genuinely want to contribute to it. Whatever we are today is largely due to what this nation has given us. Now it is our responsibility to give something back. If we do nothing today, then who will? How long will we wait for someone else to step forward, speak up, and protect us? Therefore, all those who believe in peace and in the Constitution, let us unite to safeguard the future of millions of students. Thank you.

Dipke has been among the most vocal critics of Pradhan following the cancellation of the NEET-UG 2026 examination amid allegations of a paper leak. The examination is now scheduled to be held on June 21, 2026.
