Delayed Surrender to Dodge Alcohol Test? Questions Arise in Gaurav Manoj Ahuja Case

An unusual event unfolded at Yerawada police station when Bhagyesh's friends arrived carrying burgers and cold coffee for him. Police asked Bhagyesh to leave the station premises.

Pune/Karad: The Pune police arrested Gaurav Manoj Ahuja in Karad for public urination and obscene behavior at Yerawada Chowk. Before his arrest, he released a video apologizing to the public stating, "I sincerely apologize to the people and Shinde Saheb."

According to reports, Gaurav was heavily intoxicated during the incident. He consumed alcohol in the morning but surrendered only at night, raising suspicions about his intentions. It is alleged that he delayed his surrender to avoid having alcohol detected in his blood test.

Police Investigation and Bhagyesh Oswal’s Involvement

During the incident, Gaurav was accompanied by his friend Bhagyesh Oswal, who was in the car holding a liquor bottle. The police later took Bhagyash into custody as well and conducted his medical examination, which confirmed the presence of alcohol in his bloodstream.

Reports suggest that the friends initially left but later attempted to re-enter, only to be turned away by the police.

On the day of the incident, Gaurav was seen engaging in obscene behavior in a public place at Yerawada Chowk. Witnesses reported that he urinated on the roadside in a busy intersection. Even after getting into his car, he continued acting inappropriately.

His reckless actions were recorded on video by a bystander. After realizing he was being filmed, Gaurav, still intoxicated, sped away dangerously in his vehicle.

Following his arrest, the police conducted a medical test on Gaurav, but his results are yet to be revealed. Meanwhile, his friend Bhagyesh Oswal’s test confirmed alcohol consumption.
