Delhi Airport receives threats for two Air India flights to London

Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday received a threat call

Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday received a threat call regarding two Air India flights scheduled to depart London on Thursday.

According to the police officials, those who made the call threatened that they would not let the flights reach Britain's national capital. The security has been tightened at the national's airport.

India Today quoted, Rajiv Ranjan, DCP Airport as saying, "Terrorist Gurupatvant Singh Pannu, who is associated with the Khalistan Commando Force, has made threat calls to several people and said that on November 5, the group won't let two Air India planes to land in London."

The Delhi Police as well as the airport authorities, Air India and the CISF which guards at the airport, have been put on alert.
