Former Chief Minister of Gujarat Keshubhai Patel passed away on Thursday

Keshubhai Patel, Former Chief Minister of Gujarat passed away on Thursday. The 92-year-old breathed his last at a hospital in Ahmedabad.

Keshubhai Patel who tested positive for the novel coronavirus served as the Chief Minister of the state in 1995 and from 1998 to 2001. A member of Gujarat Legislative Assembly for six times resigned from the BJP and founded his own political party -- The Gujarat Parivartan Party.Patel complained of difficulty in breathing on Thursday morning when he was admitted to the hospital in Ahmedabad, where he passed away.
