Deputy Commissioner of Police Ranjankumar Sharma said that discipline must go hand in hand with festive enthusiasm. Mandals have been directed to appoint their own volunteers to ensure order and to avoid inappropriate practices such as playing loud DJs. Instead, traditional musical instruments should be used, which many mandals have already agreed to adopt this year.

Police have also made it mandatory for every mandal to install CCTV cameras, both for safety and to help prevent untoward incidents. Organisers have been asked not to block entire roads while erecting pandals so that emergency vehicles can pass easily. They have also been instructed not to collect forced donations from citizens.

Authorities are issuing detailed traffic guidelines to avoid congestion in the city during the processions. Citizens have been encouraged to contact the police directly, even through WhatsApp, for any concerns or suggestions. Sharma assured that the department will provide complete cooperation to the public throughout the festival.
