20.51 pc students pass HSC supplementary exam in Pune

Pune: The State has recorded a 23.17 per cent pass percentage in the supplementary examination of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) which was held in July-August 2019. Pune recorded a pass percentage of 20.51 per cent this year.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) announced the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate supplementary examination on Friday. 

A total of 1,31,603 candidates had registered for the Higher Secondary Certificate supplementary examination. 

Out of which 1,31,355 candidates appeared for the examination. Among these, only 30,438 candidates passed this year across the State. 

This year the results of the Higher Secondary Certificate supplementary examination have increased by 0.52 per cent over the previous year which was 22.65 pc in Maharashtra.

In Pune division, 24,046  candidates had registered, while 24,002 candidates had appeared for the re-examination. Out of which, only 4,923 candidates passed.

Candidates can apply for re-evaluation from August 26 to September 4. 

The applications for mark sheets need to be done between August 26 and September 14.

Those candidates who have failed in this supplementary examination can re-apply online for improvement in February-March examination 2020.
