BEST Bus Strike to End Strike as Bombay High Court Directs Workers to Get Back to Work

Mumbai: Mumbai’s lifeline- BEST, a city busservice will be on track in next one hour as the BEST Action Committee agreed in high court.

About 32000 BEST employees were on strike for last nine days asking various demands including rise in salary and merger of BEST committee budget with the BMC budget.

On Wednesday the BEST administration put their proposal about accepting the demands of the employees.

Where the administration accepted partial demands including rise in salary. 

New pay scale will be implemented from January, 2019.
Shashank Rao, convener of Best action committee will make announcement about calling off the strike in some time.
