Solapur: According to numbers, it seems that the spread of coronavirus in increasing in rural areas. On Tuesday, 244 new infected patients were found in rural areas, while nine patients were reported dead. In Solapur city, 113 new infected patients were found and one patient died. In the last three days, 30 deaths have been reported in total both in the city and district, including 991 newly infected coronavirus patients.

Among the newly infected patients found in the district on Tuesday, the highest number (60) were from Malshiras. 

Later freshly infected patients were found in various talukas like Pandharpur - 46, Sangola - 38, Barshi - 36, South Solapur - 21, Karmala - 20.

There are 48 patients and six deaths in urban areas, while 196 patients and three deaths in rural areas. The total number of infected patients found in the district so far has reached 3,050 coronavirus pandemic patients in urban areas and 5,072 in rural areas. The death toll is 82 in urban areas and 147 in rural areas.

In the city, 113 new infected patients were registered on Tuesday and one was reported dead. The total number of infected patients in the city was 6,064 and the death toll was 393. While the death rate is 6.48 per cent, on the other hand, the proportion of coronary patients is 75 per cent. 

Currently, only 18 per cent of patients appear to be active. Although the death toll in rural districts has recently risen, the total death toll is still 2.81 per cent. The death toll in the city and district has come down to 4.38 per cent.

In the last three days, 8,923 tests were performed and 991 new infected patients were added. 30 patients were reported dead. This includes only six deaths in urban areas and 24 in rural areas. In three days, 259 patients have been found in urban areas and 732 in rural areas.
