Heatwave continues to sweep Maharashtra

Mumbai: Heatwave condition continued to sweep the entire Maharashtra, specially in Vidarbha region, for the the couple of days, registering maximum temperature between 40 and 45 degrees Celsius in numbers of districts across the state.  

Mumbaikars will also face severe heat in next three days and the temperature is likely reach upto 36 Celsius.  

According to Central Weather Office, during the next three days people will have to face severe heat. Warning of rise in tempature has been sounded in Vidarbha region in next three days.  

Highest tempature of 44.2 Celsius was recorded in Chandrapur.

There is possibility of rise tempature in the parts of North Central Maharashtra and Marathwada region in the state.  

To avoid the heat, people were preferring to remain indoors and streets, markets, shopping centers wore a deserted look in day time.  

Acute drinking water problem is adding to the woes of the people, especially in rural areas in state.
