Mumbai: Mumbai Mayor Kishori Pednekar tested positive for the COVID-19 on Thursday. General

The 58-year-old on her social media handle said, “I undertook the COVID-19 antigen test and was tested positive. Doctors have advised me to home isolate being asymptomatic. I request all those in close contact with me should conduct the test. I will be back soon.”

Mayor Kishori Pednekar had also gone into self-quarantine in June after coming in contact with COVID-19 positive journalists in the city. A former nurse herself, the Shiv Sena leader was also admitted to the hospital in June.
